The true church abandoned the truth

I dont agree..God always had a true Church..There was always faithful and unfaithful members.. The true church all its doctrines are biblical but have members and issues that are not in accordance with God's principles... The church militant will one day become the church triumphant...that should not be said, it is confusing...

2024. This has touched my heart

One has to admire the SDA's continuing forward looking to predictive anticipations. First in 1843, then in 1844, followed by the expectation of Christ's return in 1851. Nowadays the return of Christ is predated by the arrival of the infamous "Sunday law". The two current competing time frames for the always "soon" coming Sunday law are the arrival dates of 2025 and 2030. After these two years have come and gone the SDAs will undoubtedly be onto some new date.

*The National Sunday Law serves only one purpose. It generates fear* Teachings such as the National Sunday Law are divisive. Rather than promote love and understanding between those of different faiths, these teachings create fear and suspicion. How can a Seventh-day Adventist have fellowship with a Sunday-keeper whom they suspect is secretly planning to pass laws to torture and kill them? This false doctrine divides by creating an artificial adversarial relationship between Sabbath-keepers and Sunday-keepers. No cult can survive long with an "enemy." The SDA "enemy" is not the world; rather, it is the non-SDA denominations. Sadly, the SDA sect has made out all Sunday-keeping churches to be the enemy. This promotes hatred and suspicion amongst believers, not love and peace. The National Sunday Law serves only one purpose. It generates fear. No cult can survive long without fear. The time has come for the SDA Corporation to face the facts and admit that a National Sunday Law is no longer feasible or even meaningful. It is time for them to turn away from this unscriptural teaching and turn away from fear. It is time for SDA evangelists to stop using fear tactics to persuade people to join their sect. Many people become Sabbath-keepers for reasons other than fear. Giving up the Sunday law teaching does not mean Seventh-day Adventists must give up Sabbath-keeping or any of their other odd doctrines. It simply means that they are willing to take a second look at Bible prophecy and admit that perhaps the future may not unfold in the exact manner that their pioneers had predicted. It is time Seventh-day Adventists stop preaching terror. It is time for them to bury their past hatred of Sunday-keepers and join wholeheartedly with their Sunday-keeping brothers and sisters in fulfilling Christ's Great Commission to take the gospel of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ into all the world.

In the West, most people already have the whole weekend off. So the Adventists are not really afraid of a law that mandates civil rest one day a week, but rather a "No Worshipping God Allowed on Saturdays Law". *It is not a Sunday law that Adventists oppose but rather anti-Sabbath law* . A law that would remove their right to worship on Saturdays. But the trend over the past four decades has been to repeal Sunday blue laws. Any attempt today at introducing such a bill in the U.S. Congress for a national law would be laughed at. And such a law would be blatantly unconstitutional under the Establishment Clause. Even if such a bill passed Congress, it would be immediately stayed by the courts and struck down soon thereafter. How in any way is it possible that all the other world religions would bow the knee and agree to worship the Triune God of Christianity? And why would an atheist be willing to worship a God he doesn't even exist in? Atheistic China is rapidly expanding now boasts the largest military machine. This nation now has the muscle to seriously challenge the United States. There is no possibility China is going to allow the United States to decide what day its people worship on. Hindu India, Muslim Pakistan, atheist North Korea, and Jewish Israel all have super-powerful nuclear weapons. The United States cannot dictate anything to these nations. The reality of the world has changed drastically since the SDAs came up with the notion of a national Sunday law spreading from here to the rest of the world. There is simply no possibility the United States can force the whole world to worship on Sunday and kill Sabbath-keepers. An Adventist would do well to read and understand the various counter-arguments to the notion of the Sunday law.
